Nestled on the northwest coast of Spain, A Coruña is much more than a port city: it's a place where history meets the future. With emblematic monuments such as the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Tower of Hercules, and its role as an economic and cultural hub in Galicia, A Coruña represents a harmonious transition between its rich past and its contemporary ambitions.

Today, it stands out for its commitment to building a more accessible, sustainable and connected city, focusing on innovative solutions to improve the daily lives of its residents and visitors. Its commitment to greener, more accessible transport is reflected in the development of a network of shared bikes, tailored to the needs of residents and visitors alike. Bicicoruña, A Coruña's shared bike system, run by operator EMVSA, strives to offer an environmentally-friendly alternative to traditional modes of transport. The network currently has 360 bikes at 49 stations, providing optimum coverage of the city.
