Focus on Boulder!
This blog series highlights the cities where Qucit partners with local operators to optimize shared mobility systems. Discover how our solutions contribute to improving urban mobility in these territories!
Colorado's iconic university town, Boulder's appeal lies in its harmonious blend of nature and urbanism. Nestled in a spectacular mountain setting, Boulder cultivates a culture of gentle mobility, with bikes playing a central role in the daily lives of its residents. Driven by a strong ecological conscience and a commitment to innovation, Boulder has been investing for several years in infrastructures that promote more fluid, inclusive and sustainable mobility.
The local bike share system, operated by Bicycle Transit System under the name Boulder BCycle, includes a fleet of 363 bikes distributed across 55 stations. This service supports multimodal travel and offers residents and visitors a low-carbon alternative for short urban trips.
Since February 2025, Bicycle Transit System has been using Qucit Bike to improve the efficiency of their operational management. With 10 regular users of the Qucit platform, the team now benefits from smarter planning tools to monitor and adjust field operations, all with the shared goal of increasing bike availability and enhancing service performance.
