Thanks to its living conditions, its cultural sites and its university, the capital of South Carolina is one of the most pleasant cities to live in the United States. This fast growing urban center has one of the most bike-friendly politics in the country: cyclists can use the sidewalks without fear of a fine, which is not possible in other American cities! The city authorities are aware of the importance of active mobility and its environmental impact. They regularly organize educational bike rides and promote cycling among residents by building cycling infrastructure. But that is not all… Since 2018, the city is welcoming a new bike-share system: Blue Bike!

Qucit's partnership with Bewegen in Columbia

This system, managed by the operator BWG Field Ops, has 135 bicycles, including 50 electric ones, distributed over 15 stations. Qucit collaborates with the operator on this promising project by ensuring the optimization of the system and facilitating the management of the fleet. Qucit Bike application allows field teams to optimize the management of their daily tasks by guaranteeing a bike-share system that is always balanced for users.
