Miami’s blue sky and ocean attract all those who love the beach, the sun and the party. Over the years, the city has become a financial and tourist center of world renown, thanks in particular to its port, the first cruise ship port in the world! Miami, with its sunny climate suitable for all outdoor activities, is a thriving market for e-scooter and e-bike rentals. In order to promote micromobility, the City has built an impressive network of bicycle lanes and launched in 2004 the bike-sharing system called Citi Bike.
The system, run by operator DecoBike, currently includes 2,000 bikes and 160 stations. Qucit helps the operator to manage irregular flows during peak hours and optimize system saving management time and costs. Our Qucit Bike application optimizes fleet management and facilitates the work of the rebalancing teams. Because the Citi Bike is above all an ecological way to explore the beaches of Miami.
In our next post, we will discover the bike share system in Columbia !
